SRM Global Hospital adopts Dozee’s AI-based contactless vitals monitoring technology for enhanced patient safety

Enhanced Vitals Monitoring with Dozee’s Made-in-India contactless Remote Patient Monitoring and Early Warning System (EWS) is being used to boost patient safety in wards at SRM Global Hospital

New Delhi/Chennai: SRM Global Hospital in Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu, has entered into a partnership with Dozee to implement continuous patient monitoring. Dozee’s solution will be implemented at the hospital to improve safety and clinical outcomes by allowing doctors and healthcare workers to monitor patients remotely.
As per the SRM Global Hospital, it values automation and digitalization of vital data and operational processes as a smart hospital.
Dozee enables healthcare workers to remotely monitor patients’ vital parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG. Dozee’s Early Warning System (EWS) tracks vital parameter trends and alerts healthcare providers to detect patients’ clinical deterioration early, enabling timely medical intervention.
Dozee uses AI-powered Ballistocardiography (BCG) for contactless vitals monitoring. Dozee’s technology is patented and made in India, and it has been clinically proven to be 98.4% accurate. Continuous vital monitoring significantly impacts patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency. Research done by independent consulting firm Sattva shows that for every ~100 Dozee connected beds, it can save ~144 lives and ~80% of the time taken for vitals by nurses and reduce ICU Average Length Of Stay (ALOS) by ~1.3 days.
“We are always looking at ways to improve patient safety and care. Dozee’s AI-based contactless vitals monitoring technology is a step in that direction. It will help us keep a close eye on patients remotely around the clock. This will free up our healthcare staff to attend to other tasks and patients. We can improve the quality of care we provide, reduce healthcare costs, and ultimately save more lives by embracing this technology.” said Dr.Sathyanarayanan, President, SRM Global Hospital.
“We are delighted that SRM Global Hospital – one of Tamil Nadu’s leading hospitals, with state-of-the-art diagnostic services has chosen to adopt Dozee’s AI-based contactless vitals monitoring technology. This is a testimony to the efficacy of SRM Global Hospital’s resolution to enhance patient safety. Through Dozee’s tech solutions, we strive to enable the delivery of quality care and safeguard the quality of life of both patients and healthcare workers.” said Gaurav Parchani, CTO and Co-founder, Dozee.
