Ziqitza Healthcare partners Odisha govt for launch of 92 additional ambulances

Bhubaneswar: Ziqitza Health Care Ltd (ZHL) on 6th May signed an MOU with Department Of Health & Family Welfare, Government Of Odisha for the launch of 92 additional 108 ambulances under National Ambulance Service in the state.
The agreement was signed between Ms Shalini Pandit , IAS – Mission Director, National Health Mission, Department of Health & Family Welfare, GoO and Mr Naresh Jain, CEO, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd  in the presence of Chief Minister, Mr Naveen Patnaik and Mr Pradeep Kumar Amat, Minister, Finance, Public Enterprises and Health & Family Welfare, GoO.
ZHL operates 420 Ambulances under 108 Ambulance (brand name) and 500 Ambulances under 102 Ambulance (brand name) of National Ambulance Service in the state in partnership with Department of Health & Family Welfare, GoO. It currently operates 108 emergency ambulance services in all 30 district of Odisha through a fleet size of 420 ambulances. The 108 Ambulance is operated through the state of the art centralised call center situated in Bhubaneswar. The entire service right from a person making a call to the necessary pre-hospital care in the ambulance and carrying the victim to the nearest hospital is absolutely free.
Commenting on the signing of the agreement, Mr Naresh Jain, CEO, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd, said, “We are happy to announce that we have signed an agreement to launch 92 more 108 ambulances in Odisha which will help us serve the people of Odisha more effectively.  We truly appreciate the efforts and support received from the Govt. of Odisha and specially the Chief Minister of Odisha, Mr Naveen Patnaik & Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Mr Pradip Kumar Amat and all the officers of the Health Department; NHM, for the noble initiation and all the support provided so far which has helped us to launch the service in Odisha.”
ZHL says it continues to remain committed to the people of Odisha and have been working with the government to ensure efficient and transparent services in the state. The 108 Ambulance has successfully completed 4 year of their journey in Odisha and aided in saving more than 14 lakh patients.
