Curofy ties up with IMA to conduct CMEs across India

The objective is to conduct continuous medical education seminars for doctors to keep them updated about recent healthcare trends in tier 2 and tier 3 cities

Gurugram: Curofy, a leading networking app for doctors has recently partnered with Indian Medical Association to conduct Continuous Medical Education Seminars (CMEs) across India.

Started with an idea to keep the doctors updated about latest healthcare trends, Curofy also aims to bring them on the CMEs platform where they can expand their community network and share their medical cases or experiences to promote preventive healthcare.

Speaking about the relevance of conducting CMEs, Nipun Goyal – Founder of Curofy, said, “We are trying to bridge the knowledge gap that exists in the industry. Hence, with IMA, CMEs are going to be a great way to take the latest in the medical world and reach the doctors of all parts of the country. It is in line with our motto to promote preventive healthcare by helping doctors diagnose faster.”

The CMEs conducted by Curofy in association with IMA works as a huge catalyst in promoting curative healthcare in Tier II and Tier III cities. It focuses on providing expert knowledge – sharing sessions to keep the doctors updated with new technologies of diagnosis.

Commenting on the tie-up, Dr Ashok Kaundal, IMA Shimla President, said, “We are extremely delighted to partner with Curofy. We have already presented some CMEs with Curofy initially and we are looking forward to provide more valuable sessions to doctors present across India.”

With CMEs, Curofy mainly focuses on not only establishing its value proposition among doctors but also adding the much needed digital dimension to the medical sector.

The CMEs are going to be conducted once a week in different parts of the country at district level with an aim to take it to a much wider audience.

Curofy is one of the fastest growing digital healthcare start-up with over more than 3,50,000 verified doctors. It has already conducted over ten CMEs in cities like Patiala, Sangrur,  Shimla, Jodhpur, Indore, Udaipur, Surat, Bikaner, Mandi, etc. and planning to come up with atleast fifty CMEs in 2019.
