MediBuddy records 83.7% surge in at-home lab testing in metros, 56% in non-metro cities

The company's campaign is in line with the dramatically increased lab testing done by its users through the digital healthcare platform

New Delhi: MediBuddy, one of India’s leading digital healthcare platform has witnessed dramatic increase in lab testing done by its users.
Among the lab testing users, 82% did RTPCR tests, around 69% booked regular diabetes tests, followed by thyroid tests done by 67% and a full-body health check-up was taken by 84%.
The maximum lab tests were recorded on the platform from the top five metros, Delhi (NCR), Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The metro cities experienced an increase of 83.7% in lab testing from home, while non-metro cities saw a spike of 56%.
The digital healthcare platform registered a growth rate of 3.67 % for those aged 12 to 18 years, 56.5 % for those aged 19 to 30, 27.3 % for those aged 31 to 40, followed by11.73 % for those aged 40 to 50, and 0.8 % for those aged 50 and up.
The company has launched its new campaign #LabsFromHome, urging people to prioritise their health and inculcate the habit of preventive health-checkup with super convenient at-home body test services.
